What happens when Mastermind Groups get together offline?
I’ll tell you what happens!
People laugh.
People tell stories.
People begin joint ventures.
People take their relationships to an entirely new level, ones that are deeper, richer, and more powerful.
Napoleon Hill can be credited with the modern concept of a Mastermind Group. In his famous book Think and Grow Rich, Mr. Hill encourages readers to form Mastermind Groups as a means of moving their lives forward in a positive direction.
He writes:
“The coordination of knowledge and effort of two or more people, who work toward a definite purpose, in the spirit of harmony.”
Furthermore…
“No two minds ever come together without thereby creating a third, invisible intangible force, which may be likened to a third mind.”
Yesterday I had the chance to meet up with the members of my Marketing Funnel Mastery Mastermind Groups. This group evolved out of Mike Klingler’s Marketing Funnel Mastery workshop we all attended back in June.(Thanks to Glenn Arcaro for spearheading this group!)
We met at Mio Sushi, a hip little place in Northwest Portland just off 23rd. We have been working together as a group for a couple of months using Skype, so in many ways it felt like “old friends” getting together even though some of us were meeting for the first time.
Get an inside peak at what happened in this short video right here…
The future of entrepreneurship is what you saw above. Mastermind Groups will play an even larger role in individuals’ lives as we each forge our path based on our skills and our passions.
I want to personally thank the members of my MFM Mastermind Group for their positive energy, business insight, and comraderie:

It was such a pleasure to meet up with you for the first time, Mary Lou. I’m just sorry we didn’t meet earlier, since I was in PDX all summer! I treasure the hour spent each week with this energetic, motivated, and resource rich group. The commitment everyone has made has been great. I highly recommend a mastermind for anyone who is serious about collaborating with other entrepreneurs.

Power to the Mastermind!
Mary Lou, thanks for sharing a great post on the power of social media! The Tribe and mastermind concepts are of particular importance to me. Just like Social Media, there’s a tremendous advantage to those who know how to leverage these principals.

Hi Mary Lou,
Thanks for sharing the important reminder.
As Hill said a forming a master mind alliances creates the intangible force which is an infinite source of knowledge. Your job becomes much easier and more enjoyable by approaching it with help from others.

Great post Mary Lou,
It’s a great reminder to how important it is to connect with other like minded people. Meeting people on social websites is a great opportunity for sure; but when you can meet in person, Great things happen.
Probably a lot of people have seen/heard this before but it’s worth repeating… What does team stand for?
T.E.A.M stands for (together everyone achieves more.)
Thank you for the great reminder Mary Lou!

Mary Lou,
Mastermind groups are so awesome! Whether formally formed or informally, the power behind more two or more people creates a whole new level of synergy and creativeness.
Many of my shifts have been a result of working with a mastermind group. Our Tribe is a Mastermind group in my eyes. We all support each other and brainstorm ideas. Love it!

Mary Lou,
I’m fast becoming a huge fan of social media marketing and the power of tribes and syndication.
Thanks for your expert guidance and tutelage. I am looking forward to learning more and to the day when I can contribute to someone else’s success as you have to mine.
Best of Life!
Justin
Aside from the excellent video Mary, I probably would be very uncomfortable around so many beautiful girls. I see value in Masterminding together and wish I was able to travel to meet some of these marvelous friends we have in the Tribes.
