Oops…Did You Wander into the Wrong Class?

Internet 101

Remember what it was like your freshman year in college when you walked into one of your required survey classes for the first time? Hundreds of faces just like you staring ahead in the huge lecture hall, each mind wondering, “How am I going to get through this semester?”

It’s no different here on the Internet, folks.

New people come online each and every day, looking for answers and solutions to their problems without a clue about where to start.

And, just like in college, there are layers and levels of learning here on the Internet.

  • Internet Marketing 101.
  • Introduction to Social Media.
  • Blogging for Beginners.

And those are but a HANDFUL of the things you need to master before moving to the next level.

13 months ago, back in September 2009 when I made the decision to go all in with my online adventure, I remember feeling exactly like I did when I was started college — excited, bewildered, and scared.

How many thousands of others are out there who feel just like I did 13 months ago?

Fast-forward to October 2010 and I am an upperclassman. Amazing! I have confidence about what to do and how to help others do what I have done — how to navigate around this enormous campus and actually succeed.

Watch this video to see what I am talking about…

Anyone who knows me knows I am passionate about helping people grow and succeed. Here online, I want to help people wade through the clutter of what’s out there. I want to show people there are ways to get the knowledge and training you need without breaking the bank or taking out enormous loans to fund your education. To do that, I have created a mentoring program designed to meet people where they are, from brand-spanking-new to more advanced.

Click here to see what I have to offer.

Just like getting a degree from a four-year college or university, investing in your online business education is necessary if you truly want to succeed.

I rarely promote my products or services in my blog posts, but the thoughts I shared in the video above are ones I believe in so strongly that I am breaking that rule and showcasing what I have to offer to anyone who really wants to work one-on-one with a skilled, dedicated teacher.

In the end, I just want to make sure people who are bringing their Network Marketing businesses online are starting at the right level and not getting so far in over their heads that they wind up discouraged and frustrated and quitting before they even got started.

There is a huge amount to learn when you decide to take your business to the Internet. The time and investment it takes to learn what you need to learn is definitely worth it. Just be sure you are starting at the right place and getting the help you deserve from teachers who are committed to helping you.

What are some of your online education stories? Have you worked with a mentor who really helped you bust through the initial obstacles that everyone faces when they first come online? Share those stories here and pass this post along to your circle if you believe it offers value to them!
