The art of worship is the same whether we kneel at the alter of our local church or we stand in a row of our beloved sporting sanctuary. Or both.
On Sunday morning across this country, people gather together week upon week to pay tribute to our respective Source and seek its mighty wisdom through fellowship, sermon, and prayer.
What it comes down to is not so much the fanfare of music and sideline splendor, but more the act of communion.
Of believing in something bigger than ourselves so that we may seek relief from and find the strength to carry our burdens one more day.
In our Sunday best, be it a dress and heels, suit and tie, or licensed jersey with matching face paint, we show up and prove the spirit does indeed move among us, giving us hope for miracles.
For tomorrow.
