Every year starts with the same question:
What do I want to accomplish?
But this year, I’m wrestling with a different one:
Who do I want to become?
The difference?
A “to-do” list can keep me busy.
A “to-be” list can keep me focused.
I want to be someone who shares valuable ideas that spark meaningful conversations about intersections -- where different things meet and synthesize into cool stuff.
Things like Gen AI. Poetry. Leadership. Journaling. Birds. Music. Women who lead.
How they’re all connected.
How with some creative finagling, they can help solve problems.
I want to be someone whose work resonates deeply enough that people say, “I need to work with her.” (Because working with me is awesome!)
Building awareness and making an impact takes time, but clarity starts with asking the right questions.
Simple. Straightforward. Sublime.
