Fascinating People: My New Blog Post Series

by Mary Lou Kayser in Other2 Comments

One of the keys to success online is taking the relationships we build in our social media sites offline. Picking up the phone and calling someone, arranging a Meet-Up at a local restaurant or coffee house, or getting together for a meal will take the relationship to an entirely new level.

In the spirit of getting to know people beyond their pretty picture on Facebook, I am launching a new category for blog posts called “Fascinating People.” In each post, I will feature a person I met through social media but then took the relationship to the next level in one or more of the ways described above.

I have always enjoyed getting to know all sorts of people, and am discovering how powerful social media is as a way of expanding my circle. I look forward to showcasing individuals who I believe are dynamic, interesting, and worth the time to get to know.

Each of us has a powerful personal story to share with the world. Each of us has strengths and unique gifts that make this world a better place. I am excited about sharing with my readers a variety of stories over the weeks and months to come as a way of inspiring others and expanding awareness of the power that exists beyond our computer screens.
