Self-Publishing Journey: Formatting Your Manuscript

It’s a new year and exciting things are going on in self-publishing! Watch this video now…

Self-Publishing Journey

Some of my readers are aware that in 2012 I joined forces with two dynamic business partners, Leta Russell and Holli Rovenger, and formed a new self-publishing company called PublishPromoteProfit.com. We have been working very hard behind the scenes for the last eight months and in that very short time, we have facilitated a successful live workshop, launched our first self-publishing training academy, and attracted the attention of leaders like Angelique Rewers in the rapidly expanding online space.

What’s most exciting about this venture is getting back to my roots as a teacher. Helping people to transform their lives through writing and education has always been at the center of who I am as a person and as a professional. Building a self-publishing company is the natural extension of all that I love. Already, I am witness to the success of those people who have said yes to the possibilities writing a book brings to their lives.

As part of this journey, I am recording short videos about what I’m learning and teaching. Today’s video is about the challenges all authors who choose the self-publishing route will face: formatting their manuscripts for e-readers. Yes, Amazon provides fairly robust guidelines for the do-it-yourselfers in the world, but believe me. Preparing your manuscript for self-publication is not as easy as it seems.

Be sure to check back here often to learn more about self-publishing as I continue my journey into this incredible new space. And make sure to pick up my free guide on how a book can expand your business, your brand, and you. It’s available in the uppermost box on the home page.

See you in the next video of my self-publishing journey!
