What Do Writers Do All Day?

Many people are curious about what do writers do all day.

Sometimes I lean against a cabinet in the living room that has floral wallpaper and look at a collection of fine china tea cups.

It’s surprisingly Zen.

And it affirms for me that I will never put floral wallpaper in my house. (Love you, mom and dad!)

Sometimes I listen to one of my dad’s vinyl albums on his killer stereo system. 

Still other times I wander from room to room and floor to floor, thinking.

Then I return to my desk.

Because what do writers do all day?
