The question each of us has to ask ourselves every day is, are we all in with what we’re doing?
Does our project hold enough weight to keep us focused, stalwart, brimming with excitement and enthusiasm even when things get rough?
Forces everywhere conspire against us on our mission to be all in. Commitment to one idea, one person, one goal in a shiny new object world is close to impossible.
We may not be getting on ships and leaving port for unknown worlds across vast seas.
We may not be climbing onto the back of a sled and mushing across icy Arctic plains.
We may not be loading up the covered wagon and traveling thousands of miles to an unknown land with nothing but hope for something better.
But if that spirit of adventure, if that spirit of throwing caution to the wind and going for it no matter what is no longer there.
If we’ve just settled for what is.
Then we’re in trouble.
And definitely not all in.
